Default Rowe change machine not working

I have a Rowe change machine. It is not accepting any bills. It keeps spitting them back out when inserted. What would it take to fix it. I just need the part name. Thanks.

That would depend on what message is displayed on the computer display when it rejects the bill if a BC1200 model.

You don't give us much to work with here.

Its like bringing in your car to a dealer and saying "my car is broke fix it"

Typical problems with this validator are worn belts, weak optics, bad mag head/amp, bad or weak motor.

Now if you have a C series it can be a little more complicated.

Either way I would recommend either sending it to a Rowe auth repair center such as or Rowe directly for service.
Tell them you saw their link and Company name on and too become a Sponsor
If necessary purchase a spare for now and repair the bad one so you have it for that rainy day.

Here are links to the manuals...

If you look at the CB LED there shows an error code. I send my non working validators to 863-669-9699 quick turnaround, small personal business like yours.

Tell them you saw their phone # and name on
if it was that easy everyone would do it..

The model is BC-1200. The error code is (H) when inserting $1 bills and validating. Thanks.

If you reference the manual that IPSOTECH put up the link for, on page 4-18 you'll see the info I put below. You may want to send the bill acceptor in for repair if the trouble shooting below doesn't help.

The bill failed validation because the information from Mag Head 2 was incorrect.
Corrective Action:
1. Check the White/Green wire from the transport for an Open/Short to the CCC (P4 - Pin 5).
2. Replace the mag amp/transport.
3. Replace the CCC.

Get rid of the old bill transport and upgrade to a mars with a kit. Will allow you to take 1/5/10/20's. Got mine at vendors exchange.

The mars is the way to go. I also bought mine from Venders Exchange. $249 plus the mars acceptor.

Tell them you saw their name on
