Default Do these prices sound OK for Dexter?

Dexter T400 washer 3695.00
Dexter T300 washer 2775.00
Dexter T600 washer 4850.00

Plus 500 each for express version

Info is so important how many of each are you buying?

Are they new or used?

Have you shopped…

Are you sure your not selling these and want us to give you a price?

Are you building or buying a mat? Or do you own one?

hmmmmmm?

I'm struggling with the same issue. I am really new at this so hopefully the other members with more experience can contribute. We need a Kelly's Blue book here.

Get at least two quotes. My first quote was totally over the top. They were charging me $800 as a "freight" charge. PLUS, they wanted money for delivery. And they wanted even more for installing it (not hookup, just leveling and such). On top of it all, the salesman told me prices always go up on January 28th so I better get them ASAP. And the actual prices per unit were extremely high.

My second quote was one price to deliver (included install/removal, then wait for me to hook up and then return to teach me). None of the other crap charges. And the prices were much lower.

I know these are not the same units, but hopefully it will help compare. Maybe others can post actual prices into this thread so we have a better gauge. This was for 3 or 4 units, but I don't think that mattered. They are having a trade show special until St Pattys day.

The Speed Queen 45 lb stack dryers are on sale for $5,660.00 each delivered,
the Speed Queen 30 lb stack dryers are $4,785.00 delivered.
The Speed Queen 60 lb washers are $6,490.00 delivered

Always get it in writing, and NEGOTIATE the heck out the deal. I always ask "What else can I get for all this money" several times during negotiations.

The prices sound right to me. I just purchased some dexter equip from my distributor in Dallas, TX. If you want his name to bounce the info send me a private message.

you can also contact dexter directly and get list prices on all washers. expect to pay close to 25-30% off list - installation, delivery exta$$. $500 for express is right but I believe only for 30lbr and it's almost double for 40lbr(making it not worth it).

There is a way to get around the factory freight, sort of. If the distrib buys enough he gets a better deal on freight or sometimes it is free. Tell the dealer you can wait till he is putting in a big order and add yours to it. Of course this only works if you do not have a tight timetable. Then again maybe the dealer will lighten up..
Installation is another matter, I use an installer on all mats. It is well worth the money. It is a bit more than just leveling the machine. Just moving the equipment in place is a job, then you have bases, bolts, epoxy, etc. Some guys here have done it themselves, so it can be done.

dexter prices

this quote is current .bare units picked up at dealers dock, and installed with base in cental Alabama.

T-300 2955 3217
T-400 3940 4288
T400a 5149 5604
T-650x 6600 7183
T-900 7013 7630

DAD30 stack 5310 delivered and installed

I know that the differenses in price make sence but the dealer works off a hard list 1 machine or more.

Dexter wont deal with you directly. You have to go thru your local dist. But buying Dexter is a smart move.

sorry I wasn't clear in my message. I meant to say that to get the list prices, you can contact dexter directly. Once you have those, you can then determine what percentage your local distributor is discounting. And how much negotiation room you have.

Too bad that Dexter isn't a sponsor to this site. You would think that they could be a contributor like Wascomat Speedqueen milnor and all the others.
