Does anyone have one of these vending machines that can provide larger quantity soaps, softeners, bleaches etc. ?

Tell them you saw their companies name on Coinwash.com.

What are the advantages and disadvantages ? Reliable? Do customers prefer these sizes ? My mat is unattended.

If it the one advertised that looks like a snack machine I would buy 2 today if they weren't so expensive. I got a price of $5000 from a guy and he said that at that price he wasn't even making money. Not sure why it is so expensive.

I've had one for only a few weeks and it's fantastic, it's a bargain for only $5,000
Will definitely order another one in a few weeks for another mat.
Buy most of the products for about $1 and vend them for $3 so it's a pretty big markup.

Would you describe how the soap products are dispensed with this machine ? Does it use wire spirals like traditional snack machines ? Where do you purchase the larger size soap products ? Thanks

No spiral mechanism like a standard vending machine, it works more as a push from behind.
This part is hard to explain but it has like a elevator that comes to a certain level then the machine pushes the product onto the elevator, the customer picks up the product from the middle of the machine (like you would pick up a stuffed animal from a crane machine) this is so the detergent doesn't break- I purchase the soap from local discount stores or wholesalers that sell to dollar stores off the internet. I've purchased a few times from Concord Enterprises which is right by you in la (beyond fast shipping).

(you can't order directly from vend-rite)

Tell them you saw Company name on Coinwash.com

I would recommend this machine to all Laundromats except
*Your in a shopping center with a grocery store or any other store that sells detergent already
*your laundromat groses less then 30k a month (you just won't due the volume to make a $5000 soap machine worth it)

I've got one. Soap breaks in the bags all the time. When I first got the machine, it would always jam with quarters. Turned out was a bad coin mechanism. It was replaced by Vendrite and since then it hasn't any issues except the occasional vacuuming of the machine from soap breakage. I did have an issue regarding dispensing multiple items however it was due to the fact that there needs to be ample spacing in between. The elevator belt came off twice. I think this is all the issues I had.

I bought this when it first came out though.

I sell products from behind the counter for free. I am an attended store though. I dought any unattended store around me is grossing 30,000 a month. I wish I did that well.
