Anyone getting strung in there Standard changers in the Sylmar area in california?, the guy comes in and gets about a $150.00 and then leaves, comes back again in two or three days. I can't catch him. but i'm sure he is going to other stores in the area.
I don't know the way we is doing it, but i'm sure it's a creative new way, Standard is a good changer. Beware and start checking your audit counter on your changers, you might be getting ripped off and don't even know it yet!

Standards best validator the one that says 600 on the back of it.
this may be a new start to stringing the standards, I am starting to ask my competition on monday if they are having an issue with this also. I did insatll some cameras to see the guy, but the next day they were stolen, so i know there is something going on here.

so they stole the camera too...
so what?
Was the camera laying on a countertop with the DVR or tape recorder right next to it?
Go ahead and steal my cameras. Sure they cost money to replace and I have to stand on a ladder.... But unless the thief followed the cable from the back of the camera through one or more ceiling, walls, and floors then also stole the computer that stores the videos I would still have a picture of them approaching the camera with tools. may I also suggest a combination of hidden and obvious cameras.
the hidden camera(s) can record the obvious ones being taken away. I have seen hidden cameras available in a smoke detector, in a radio, in an EXIT sign, in artwork/nicknacks, vent grills etc.

Are you in Florida or California? Have you tried to string the changers your self to duplicate the theft? What did Standard say about it? Do you have the 600, 600FST, or 600EF?
