Standard Changemakers

Just a heads up to those who do biz with Std Changemaker in Caifornia. Looks like they are back to the one technician of two and three years ago.
I have had a validator that took three weeks to turn around and had to be resent again the next day for the real repair. That took another 13 days. Currently, I have a stacker (pretty easy fix) sitting on their shelf since January 17th and they" may be able to get to it today"

I suppose this is another one of their management reconstructions and cost reduction efforts.

We use standard. They have a Charlotte service center, however, we do not get good results when we send things for repairs to this office. We get great results when sending to Indianapolis.

I've only sent to Standard once for an upgrade, I too used the indy office and had it back immediately.

Pittsburgh seems to have good techs and a fast turn around.

Montreal- I have to ship to, great turn around

Toronto- I can drive to in 1 1/2 hours, sometimes 2 hour turn around if I call in advance. This is an approved service depot.

Ind.-had to call once, good phone support
