Hello,

I was just wondering what time does your mat open and close? How many employees do you have? How do you handle your customers if they complain that the washers doesn't do its job and I know it does. How far do you live from your business and how often do you come to check out the place? Thanks

Aren't you guys afraid they may vandalize the machines if you don't have people watching? Is there a direct number where a customer may reach you if the machines/washers/dryers/change machine doesn't function properly?

I post a Customer Service number in the store. This number is a free call from the pay phone in the store. It rings my cell phone.

I also maintain a video surveillance system in the store with a motion-triggered digital video recorder and the ability to watch in real time or playback recorded intervals from home via the Internet.

Vandalism has not been a problem yet.

5:00 am to 10:00 pm thinking of change it to 5:00 to 11:00 during the summer
Unattended.

Timer opens in the morning and I close 5 days a week cleaning crew 2 days a week.

At least once a day unless there is a problem.

Full refund.

I have number posted in the Mat and watch at least 20 times a day via the internet.

If a customer calls i try to help over the phone, have them fill out a refund card or if it is major i drive over.

15 minutes from home 25 minutes from work.

My parents just took over a laundromat (6 months) and we have an employee always ask to be off for doctor appointments and she could only work in the morning shift. Is it legal to put her off because of the inconvenience that she poses? How much do you guys pay for the internet surveillance service? What's your landro policy? Thank you

Depends... Does she have proof she is going to the doctor? Does she have a doctors note? How long has she been there? Is she a full time employee. Caution because the FMLA act might be applicable here.

Cameras and DVR are anywhere from $500 to $5000.
plus the cost of internet service to the mat.

I haven't asked her for proof or note. She has been there for about a year. We rotate 40 hours for each employee every week and we have three. We just installed surveillance cameras and thinking of installing the internet service for surveillance. How much does internet surveillance cost?

Internet for your surveillance camera? That's cheap for business. Our laundromat is a ghetto place. My equipment is not compatible with internet but I believe I could still return it.

1 mat is 24/7, 2 are open at 6am, close at 12 midnite, on auto locks.
I have 1 person per mat that helps me clean.
I have my cell phone number posted, people call me if they have a problem, I try to talk them thru it. About 1/2 the time it works out, fix the problem, if not I take thier name and address for a refund. I have had to hang up on a few becuse of poor attitude. I don't care, a few bucks I am not a stepping stone and will NOT take abuse over the phone. My mats are from 3 blocks to 7 miles away. I work full time at the biz, on call 24/7/365.
