Do you allow or not allow too many shoes in dryer?
one or a couple of shoes definately OK for customers to dry them, but how about MANY shoes, for example 20 shoes in 30LB dryer, over 60 shoes in 75lb dryer at the same time??
that can damage the machine?
How's your store policy about this matter?
Thank you,

I notice shoes or tennis shoes or even stuffed animals all eventually cause the door magnets of my ADC 285s to bounce open while there is still time on the dryer.

I have signs, English and Spanish, "No Tennis Shoes or Sneakers In The Dryers". When someone is caught, the shoes are removed and place into a cart in front of the dryers.
The only time I allow sneakers in the dryers is to fluff a washed down comforter.

I gave up. When I see a customer fill up a 50# washer just with sneakers, what do you say when they put them in the dryer? Most do not put them in the dryers anyway. The ones that do hold the door shut. I have not had damage yet after 12 years and 6 mats, so why worry.

I wash my own sneakers and dry them at my store. Why shouldn't I let my customers do the same? It doesn't seem to hurt the dryers.
