I have a W124 that is stuck in wash. the timer does not advance past 6 o'clock.
Shut in off last night and restarted this morning and the water was gone but it still will not advance. The timer is only about a month old. I check the drain and cleaned it out and swaped out the WCU and check the tubes and hoses for blockages. Still stuck.
Thanks

I don't know anythin about your model of washer specifically but... You say it's not advancing still. What's it doing? If the motor is in slow speed and it's not filling with water again it could be that the slow speed contactor is stuck down and the inter-lock is preventing the spin cycle from starting.

If you have another i'd test it with another timer though as that is probably your best bet.

Only my opinion though, relatively new to this.

If the timer is a month old then make sure you got guaranty.
Your post misses details but it looks like a timer issue.

Sounds like its getting stick on the 1st rinse. Is water comming in ? Is the tub filling ? If not check voltage to the cold water valve, Doese the basket reverse ? Is timer new, rebuilt or used ? Very rerely is it the timer at fault. check the circuit through the level control to the timer program motor for 220vac.

Also, check to see if the Drain valve is closing.
