Speed Queen Top Load stuck on unbalanced

I have an older SQ TL the is stuck on "unbalanced". AN ideas how to fix?

usually I straighten out the tub, close the lid......but if you have already tried that, have you tried shutting down the power to it and then turning it back on? you may need to open the top section and make sure the switch is not stuck pressed in!

you have an EA2121 model? The out of balance switch is in the rear. It gets bent or rusted, sometimes will not snap back in place, other times springs come loose and it falls apart..Pull the top and take a look. MAybe the switch itself.
