Broker told me he has been selling mats around here at 7 to 8 times net lately. Seems there are a lot of buyers out there chasing very few mats for sale. I guess I'm just stupid, but I don't want to sell.

Kirby,
Now you have a better idea of why I ended up building instead of buying an existing mat. There is too much money chasing commercial real estate and businesses for sale and it is getting way out of hand.
As long as the equities market and related investments are in the doldrums, there will be those seeking "better" alternative investments.

Maybe you should sell it after the first week and make a killing?

How's 28 cent on the dollar for what you paid? Afterall, used equipment is not worth much and you have no proven revenue stream :D

Nice! I think I'll pass on your generous offer for now.
BTW, the equipment is not used yet!!!!

Its just like a new car, once you drive it off the lot it depreciates by at least $1,000. With the equipment, once its off the pallet and bolted to a platform it is used!
What are you waiting for, I thought you were going to let people in and let them start using the stuff a week or two ago. I know they are going to dirty it, but you have to break down and start letting them use it. Its only fair, you cannot just keep them outside staring through the window and drooling. When are you going to break down and let them give it a spin??? ;)
