Have a W620 that will not start when coins are put in the machine. If I advance the machine by way of the solenoid on the timer all works well. Some times maybe one out of three to four tries the machine will start when coins are used. Each time I try it I do hear a relay kick in but thats it. I checked the door lock mech. according to the service manual and all seems to ok there. What should I check? Feel that the coin drop board is ok. Anyadvise or help would be a help. As I am still learing and thank you all for help in the past. Any help with troubleshooting theses machines will be a help!
Thanks,
Keith

Either the coin drop board or the timer. When you lift the timer solenoid to start manually, you are holding it longer than the pulse from the board.

You may also want to call the Wascomat Tech line. It has been a few years since I have called, so I do not have the number. You can get it from there website. They are very helpful, but usually only open during the day. If you are at the machine when you call, they can send you through all kinds of tests and usually tell you exactly what is wrong with the machine and the advice is free.
Also a lot of times there prices for parts are well in line with the aftermarket prices, sometimes they are more but usually close to the same price or less.
Tell them you saw their Companies name on Coinwash.com and to become a Sponsor
