Hello Everyone,

I am currently in the process of Due Diligence to purchase a Laundromat. I've already done several pages of calculations based on the water and the gas usage. It seems to me the gas usage is to low for the amount of water. I was wondering if some of you who own laundromats could give me your opinion on these numbers.

Laundromat has 6 Tops Various brands $1.25
12 Dexter T-300 $2.00
4 Dexter T-400 $3.00
2 Dexter T-500 $3.50

March Water 101,000gal Gas 387 Therms
April 98,000 429
May 93,000 352

It also seems like I would need an average of 4.3 TPD to reach the sellers stated gross for the machines.

Look Forward to hearing what you guys have to say.

Thanks for the help

Cameron

the gas does seem low. What is the stated gross? Is it all coin rev or mix with w/d/f?

Hey thanks for the reply Pete,

The stated gross is $77,000 no WDF, just machine revenue. I also forgot to mention there a six single Dexter 30 lbs dryers and six stack Dexter 30lbs dryers, 18 total. All the machines except for the top loaders were new in 2000. Numbers don't look to far off to me, but they don't look right either.

Thanks
Cameron

The lowest revenue generating mat I ran was 110 -120K a year at this mat did about 7K WDF a year it was so slow. However, water consumption with the more machines was about that water consumption per thousand

what is the dry price and how many cycles do the washers have? Maybe need a longer expenses stream, ie, 6 month, a year.
