Hello everyone,

I'm not the owner of these machines, but the customer of one laundromat in my town. Recently a very nice Korean lady has bought the laundromat that I go to. She has 4 or 5 WE16's installed, and recently all of them except one has started having this problem.

What happens is that when you put quarters into the machine, the coin remaining counter will decrease like it should, but when it reaches 0 it stays there. Any other washes after that will be free. We opened the circuit board compartment and I took down the model number of the board (Llp or LIP 0319050).

I unplugged the power to the board and plugged it back in. The coin counter would reset back to 8 - what it should be. However, once we feed it coins the problem remains. The board has 8 dip switches that don't seem to really have any effect on operation.

I'd really like to help her out. Does anyone have any clue what the problem could be? And possibly know a place to download a pdf manual for the machine? Thanksin advance!

Is this a Set-O-Matic coin drop or a different brand?

The problem is probably within the coin drop itself and there is probably nothing wrong with the machine itself.

A Set-O-Matic drop will count down the coins, then show "on" in the display for about 5 seconds while the machine locks and starts, and then reset back to the original number of coins needed.
