Quarters

Does anyone know how to set/reset the timers on the Maytag stack dryers? I would like to limit the time to a max of 30 minutes. My service guy, the distributor, and the previous owner cannot give me an answer.

Easy to do. The cam is probably set on "e." Just pull it out and move it to "d." Takes longer to open it up. The pin is a little white pin that you just move from slot to slot depending on the time you want.

Thanks for the reply, but I think the newer dryers don't have the switches you are referring to. My older ones indeed have them. Any other ideas??

If these are the Maytag MLG models with micros and you are trying to set these up for free dry then there is no way to set a 30 minute limit. You can only set the amount of time for each button press. They will max out at 99 minutes. Newer models (Solaris) do have a 30 minute time limit for free dry but will reset to minutes everytime the door opens. This can be worked around by unplugging the coin vault switch.
If you are trying to set the time per quarter then it should be the second program location for MLG series.
