W/D/F Keeping Track of payments with attendants while unattended

I know another dumb question, but how do you know what the attendants are pocketing? I’m not there! So how do I keep track of a forty pound back or a ten pound bag? How do I know if there paid cash or check? Because the Mat I’ve been watching seem to have a good turn out. There are three women and they cover a 7am opening to a 10pm closing 7 day a week. And they seem busy all the time. All is appreciated

I have a couple of "secret shoppers" who always pay cash. They go in once or twice a week with a known weight and my attendants have to keep a log with name and weight.

keep detailed logs, back check the log book consistently, use camera systems, look for consistant patterns - cause they tend to get careless, compare washer/dryers $ out of change drawer to $ amount per sale to see if it consistent, secret shoppers, lots of work to deter theft - especially if you are unattended.

How does an employee steal WDF if you are unattended?
