Fully Attended to partially Unattended back to Attended

The attendant who has worked for the sucky number 2 store has been on medical leave since Dec 1. She returns Monday. The count ups have steadily declined to a tune, of 350-500 bucks per week. We had left the store unattended during her shift. M-F 8am -4pm. Anyone care to comment if and when that revenue will be built back up?

You've had a wonderfull opportunity to find out how much she was worth,
(a lot !), and how much she was stealing (not much if anything !)

So, with that said, think we will earn that revenue back? How long you think it will take?

I am just guessing, (like anyone else) perhaps a month to get back up there (until the customers who walked, hear she's back)

Unless they found something they like better.

Where did these customers go ?

We have no clue as to where they have gone, counts in store 1 have been up a little. It is possible the clientell came there. It is so hard to see the accuracy of a week in the mat biz. I will let you all know if counts go up again, this could be very interesting to view.

I had the exact opposit results from the 2 stores I bt that were attended. I gave the attendents a choice of owning thier own thier own compnay, ie, keep all the w/d/f I ain't going to pay you or simply quit. Both chose quit, and my revenue increased weekly after that. Many customers would say the lady smoked inside, told them how to do laundry, was noisy, etc.
Maybe yours is different. I would wonder what her shift was, and try to figure how much business durring THAT shift is gone. It may be coincidental, most reghular customers will keep coming back even if something is changed for a week or two. Have the counts been down since Dec 1 or was this just last week? The weather can have a factor, as can time of the month, ie checks.
