I am in need of a new main program timer for my IPSO WE165. So I call around for it and I am shocked.
Alliance bought IPSO and the timer that used to be around $180 is now $500 and up. No, that's not a typo. $500 for one part. I was told that they are forcing customers to move to new machines.
I don't know what to do....

It is sad to say but currently there is not A replacement for the 209/000107/00 mechanical timer. The timer they have available is NOT for a coin machine but rather a OPL machine. We have a ton of calls daily for a suitable replacement but unfortunately there is none. Until Alliance gets off there ass and comes up with a solution we all will just have to wait.
Sorry

And BTW is is not Alliance's fault. Ipso before Alliance came into the picture, told us long ago that the timers were going to be discontinued eventually. This is similar to the Maytag timer for the MFR with looks identical to the Ipso timer but had different timing cams.

A boneyard like NY laundry has or a timer repair company seems to be the likley choices here. There are many parts not avail anymore.

They have new machines but also have barns of older machines to get parts from.
Definitely in the "Low Rent' district, way out in the country.
Nice folks.
And I don't say that about a lot of people!
