intermittant no start

I have a 2 Maytags uc50 and MFR35 that will take the quarters than you hear the door lock and timer click in, however instead of filling with water and running the timer advances all the way to the end of the cycle and shuts down. Put in more quarters and it will work normal. This is very intermittant happening about 1 time every 3 or 4 weeks. Any ideas?

Search my post about the 50# HC washers. You have the same problem, could be number of things. In the end it was the door lock board for me.
