Some of my Primus washers have problem with water
coming into the washer:

1. Water doesn't come in to washer during pre-wash
for one machine and during rinse (softener)
for other machine.

2. In another washer, water keeps coming in to
the washer without stopping.

I was told that for Huebsch this is usually problem
with diaphragm and it may be fixed when diaphragm is
replaced.

I do not have parts manual at the moment. I seeking
for information on how this can be fixed in Primus washers
and what the part numbers are if I need to order
parts to fix them.

Primus models are
18#: R7-MC (1997)
Triple Loader: Type W22, Nr-Year: 327-88, Motor A500-330

Thank You!

Check the water valves for these, otherwise it could be the computer board.

Check the drain valve, sounds like it is not closing to allow the tub to fill. Probably just need to replace the motor on the drain valve. Switch it out and see what happens.

Thanks amartlock.

For 1, I'll try swapping water valves with other machine
and check whether that fixes the problem.

For 2, I forgot to provide the following:
- Water keeps coming in and it keeps on filling the drum
to the top. I switched the washer off and it stopped.
- If I turned it back on, it restarts to fill water.
- For this one, I plan to replace drain valve, its spring
seems not moving.
- But, I was not sure why the water keeps coming in
to the washer and it keeps on filling the washer.

- I saw someone saying level switch for similar case
for Primus washer in other thread. It would be great
if I can get the part number for that one or where it
is located, so I can dry swapping to verify, if level
switch might be problematic for this case.

Thanks Again!
