I replace the fuse in the lis switch, how ever everytime I shut the lid it blows the fuse. Any idea why?

You have a short somewhere. You need to check the wiring.

I recently had to tear a machine down because of a very small break in a wire where it passed through a hole in the frame. Took me forever to find it, once I spliced it, problem went away. but you have to look VERY carefully sometimes. It can be the smallest break, but shows a small burnt spot where it arced against the frame.
