Yesterday one of my gen 6 Wascomat E655 came loose from it's mounting and started shaking really badly on the extract cycle. It sounded like a jet aircraft was taking off in my laundrymat. I killed the power to the machine and it worked fine for the rest of the day (after I tightened up the offending bolt). Today a woman tried to start the machine and it gave an error code 04E, when I hit the start button to advance the display it reads 18E before going back to normal and unlocking the door.
When I try to run the machine, I hear the door solenoid click on and then two softer clicks before the error code is displayed. The 18E is in the service manual, but the 04E is skipped. So I have no idea what might be wrong with my machine. I would appreciate any help in troubleshooting this problem.
