The pilot lights, but the main gas refuses to catch. The ignition brain is a honeywell s8610u, the solenoid is labeled csa35a601 and the thermostat is m401251.
I have just begun working as maintenance guy at a small resort on orcas island in Washington. I haven't worked on dryers before, but have a fair ammount of experience with both electrical and gas appliances. Any help You could offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

I susspect the gas valve SELINOID needs to be replaced. You may want to look into upgradeing the unit to elctronic ignition, known as RAM units around here. It elminates the pilot lite, they cost around $45. I do not know about the honeywell number. When you reffer to pilot lights, you mean a spark plug type thing flashes spark or a flame out of a tube thing ? Most were glow bar, maybe some still have standing pilot lite?.
