I have a W74 that you have to lightly tap the lock to get it started. I am thinking a lock adjustment. Any suggections how I go about doing this. I have the service manual from Wascomat off their website. But it was not much help.

Also different machine. Water level is not up to door level. Last week it was overfilling to top of door. I changed out the level control with the machine next to it (#6). Fixed the high level problem however now I have the low level problem. The maching next to it (#6) with the old level control works fine. Thinking maybe a clogged inlet valve.

Finally the maintanace manual off the Wascomat web site is not that good. Any ideas where to get a better one.

Thanks from Baton Rouge LA. LSU Tiger!!!

Make sure your door lock mount posts are not broken.

Water level is not up to door level. Replace the hose from the water level control to the bottom of the machine. Sometimes the end rots and servicers cut the end off for a quick fix. This eventiually leads to the problem you describe.
