How much time are you vending? If the dryer ignites the first 4-5 minutes as stated... there COULD be 3 minutes programed as cool down! Have you checked the program?

I just got this problem last week. I have already changed the computer board. It did not help. I believe the temperature sensor is bad. Since it is difficult to swap this sensor, I have to order a new one. I order a new one from LAUNDRY PART, unfortunately they send me a wrong part. If you have a new temperature sensor, try to replace it. Let me know if it works.
By the way, I got Dexter single DDH3 model, what model you have? Let me know where you buy your parts for your Dexter?
Thanks

i have 30 lb. stacks 18 months old so parts are still under warranty--i switched out every part i could think of-from the lower unit to the top unit(the one out of order)
someone told me that are sensor switches in the motor which i have not checked.. the dexter tech told me they might get stuck preventing the further ignition of the flame...i unbolted the motor mount(four bolts) but could not free the motor from the unit...cool time is set for 2 minutes and checked the program and switched the whole computer board. switched the gray igniiton box, switched the upper sensor at the top of the drum in the rear. switched the actually sparking unit...checked for loose wires...i can only think the problem lies in the motor switches...time to call a repair man???hate paying that road time...

It is possible it is the spark plug or the lead that runs to it from the grey box. The spark plug has some type of sensor built into it. Fairly easy to replace and worth a try.

I say try fixing it, but I don't spend more than one day of my time with that..
I understand that we all trying to fix the problem save some money, but sometimes mess up the machine and spend more money to fix it-buy parts that you don't need - so, I say if you have good repair person get him there and fix it, you will save time, money,(you will learn the problem for next time) and your machine will start making money..

I have a very good, honest repair man who knows what is he doing (fix it really quick) I don't have any broken machines. No machine sits more than two days if it breaks down.(think about your costumer to see out of order sign - not a positive effect)
