Hi all
I have a huebsch jtd32dg stack dryer and need to change a gas valve.
The original rspc# is 430894. The equipment dealer here tells me the replacemnt valve is a#867p3 (kit). But this kit seems more complicated and very different from the original valve. I am speaking about the wiring principally, it includes a transformer with the valve. something it doesn't currently have. The wiring diagram with the kit shows only two wires from machine to connect to the valve. But may machine has more than this. Does anybody here know where i can get more info about this. The serial #for this machine begins with 920 which makes it manufactured before 1995.
Thanks to all in advance. Jimmyo

My jtd32dg 1997 have only 2 wires.
You can buy the right gas valve on line from (coin wash sponsors)

Laundryparts.com has it new part #h431072
That is what my gas valve looks like only mine has 2 wires.

The earlier models used the '894 valve which had the hi/low coil on the back...and 3 wires. The upgrade kit unfortunately does not include directions for updating this valve. Chances are it wont match up to your gas supply lines either, and you will need new fittings. You can try calling Speed Queen and asking them for advice/directions. 1-920-748-3121.

Tell them you saw their Company name and phone number on Coinwash.com

The original valve is no longer available which is why the replacement kit. It is complicated to replace if you aren't a tech but not imposssible.
