drum not moving

Hi all,

I have wascomat Gen5 50lb washer and all of a sudden the drum stopped and not rotating...
I tried to push it to maanually rotate by my hand, but it doesn't move at all,
drum is stuck something...not moving at all...
very weird...

When I put the money, water is coming down into soup box and electric RELAYs looks like working...but drum and motor not MOVING...

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give some tips....

What a great topic for the repair forum!!!

Is the belt still intact? If no, the bearings may be shot. Or there may be an industrial strength bra wire caught between the two drums. If the belt is intact, sounds like you have a motor problem.

I looked at motor and motor is PROBLEM...maybe bearing needs to be check it out...
