Has anyone ever replaced the main bearings in a Neptune? Maytag will only sell the tub with the bearings. I've replaced plenty of tubs but see no reason the bearings cannot be replaced. If you have replaced the bearings where did you get them from?
Thanks

6206 bearings and you will need the seal as well.

Just my 2 cents worth, but it is NOT worth the effort. If the bearings are the slightest bit out of whack, or the spinner support the slightest bit worn, you will be lucky to get a year out of the job. I did many bearing replacements, several more than once before switching to the new tub/new spinner support method. It's the only way I'll do them now.

Just to let you know I didn't mean to imply that replacing the bearing and seal in the original outer tub was the best route. I to replaced the whole outer tub and spinner support.
