Do you get many customers who want you to make change?
Sure, I'll break a $20 or $10 to smaller bills for people who have only a few loads. but do you get someone asking for quarters for a $5 and a few $1s so they can do use a triple, 2 tops, and 4 dryers? Isn't that what the change machine is for? If these people have an aversion to machines why aren't they rubbing their dirty clothes on a rock in the river? I usually manage to keep my mouth shut about that idea!

Sometimes I'll tell them "the change machine can count faster than I can", or I'll feed their bills into the change machine when it is obvious that they went to the effort to find the service bell (about 7 inches from the change machine)

okay, that is my rant for today.

I get change requests all the time, but mostly from people who are holding a beat-up note that was rejected several times by both of my Hamilton changers. Yesterday, somebody wanted quarters from a $2 bill! Last month, a customer wanted quarters from a dollar coin. Sometimes it's a $20 bill but they only want $5 or so in coin, and will take $10 or $5 bills as part of their change. In general, I find most of these requests to be pretty reasonable.
