I am having a problem with a Whirlpool toploader. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The circuit breaker pops about every tenth or more cycle. It happens either at the beginning or in the middle of the first wash cycle. I can not get it to repeat when I am in the mat, cycling through at least ten times. However, within a day, it popped the ckt brkr again.
I have checked everything I can think of that is electrical, with no success.

I don't have WP washer, but just off the top of my head...
Run the washer with a FULL load of clothes. You know, the way you customers user them!
A wire could be touching the cabinet when it washes/spins with a full load of clothes.
You could swap the motor, and if the problem persists, then you have an occasional short. i.e. a wire touching the cabinet, or something similer.
My guess would be that the customers are overloading it.

some Other ideas.............
Copper penny - pre 1984 when copper content was higher.
Breakers do weaken, especially old ones made before they were "switch rated". I've had this problem with breakers twice in the last year. replacing breakers fixed the problem - after alot of painful troubleshooting hours spent.
could have a leaky seal and is spraying some water down under
Could be many other things.

So far, the problem hasn't repeated in two days. I'll keep you up-to-date, but thanks for the info.
If it repeats, I will check the breaker first.
