I got letter from "the maryland labor law poster service" that they insist that my store have to post "State & Federal labor law poster" in my store, otherwise, MD will FINE upto $17,000.
It also say, I have to post 2007 poster, not 2006.
What is this??
Do I have to post every year new labor poster?
Do you have this?
Thank you

I get them all the time and joke that It would be great to have them in my home office.
In Minnesota business have the requirment to provide a private Lactating room......
Welcome to the government. I know there is a requirment based on number of employees. and the yearly statement is a seperate poster....

You can usually find all the required postings on the web for free from the govermental site. No need to buy "THE POSTER". It is not as tide looking to have a back wall in an employee area covered in sheets, but it beats buying the pre-printed poster - that changes every year.

I download and print the posters. If you have the room, why not. Some "
poster" companies have the state and fed regs on them 1 size type thing. You do have to post a bunch of crap, but lucky it is all free off the net or by calling the agency directly.

I do not know your links in your state, but try http://www.maryland.gov/portal/server.pt? for starters.

I take the ones from where I work (my real job) that are posted on a bulliten board. I photo copy them and use the copies. I think there is one about the insurance carrier that needs to be changed.
