How about some details - manufacturer, model #, etc?

I would try the manual or manufacturer 800 # as well.

Fix it by leaving the broken column empty.

Fix it by leaving the broken column empty.

I did the same :-),all my candy machine has over 25 space,I only sell 10 different items,so one or 2 empty are ok.
Check the lose wires in the back.

I actually have to admit I also have one column empty because the motor that turns the "auger" quite. There are more columns than candy anyway I leave it empty.

As suggested check the wires and check that there is nothing binding the system.

No, it is not a joke. Anymore than asking us how to fix your machine, without knowing the make, model, etc. is a joke.

So, just leave the selection empty. That is the fix.

Just in case, if it is an old Lance machine made by USI, I have the manuals.

if it's an oldi (like mine) that has plastic connections in the back.....take the tray out first and then look for the connection pins in the back. Pull those connections in forward and that should do the trick....
