Some Maytag MLG32PD stack dryers that are 3 years old and come out of a busy store have become available. What would be a fair price for these? I have never operated ADC or Maytag dryers and wouldn't know of any possible problems with these units. Just want to make sure I am not buying someone else's problems.

Thanks In advance

Kent

Wondering why they would be replacing in three years?

I can tell you but.....

start your offer very low, look at price new than start at about 10% I'm guessing if he is like most owners he will let them go at 25% just to be rid of them.

I would take 25% on my Solaris 75# units. Please!~

Depending on the condition of them I would start at about a grand each. That would be reasonable for those dryers, perhaps more if they where in mint condition.

They cost near 4k new. 3yr old are like a car, maybe 50% less. 1k I doubt, but try it!~
I see newer dryers for sale in the 2.5k range all the time, likely not that new.
I do have a store full of these, they have some cleaning issue, you will have to vacum the lint in the drum area one a year, I have not had any other service issue other than the lint trays are smaller than SQ or Dexter, so they need to be cleaned more often or air flow restriction will cause the dryer to run cold, ie, no ignition. SQ are a pain to change the belt, and do not dry as well, Dexter dryer great, throws off a ton of heat in case you wnt to a/c your store, FYI
Bascialy all dryers have issues.
