I've been wondering about the WDF business. What have you found to be the ideal area for it. I would assume cities are the best area but what about rich suburbs? Please tell me the demographics for your WDF.

A WDF customer is a person who has more money than time available to do their laundry. They could do it themselves, but will pay two or three times as much to have someone else do their washing for them, and save an hour or so. Were do we find such customers? Everywhere, but mostly in affluent suburbs populated by two-career families (i.e. not the best places for self-service laundromats).

Other places

College towns
Travel Destinations
Major Construction Projects(think guys living in hotels for 6 months to 1 year.

Other factors.
Don't wait for business to come to you. I have seen some of the most sucessful WDF in the most unlikly neighbor hoods. I sold a mat that 35% of my income was WDF in a very small town in the midwest. It was all hussel on my part setting it up.
