Anybody besides myself use their boilers to also heat their building? It makes sense because of the extra heat the regular equipment generates that occurs during the day so the heating loop tends to only be needed during the colder non open times.
When I used to service motal laundry machines,I saw one motal do that ,use water heater also heat the laundry room, but most their stuff are cotton and white,so they use super hot water about 140-160,their emplyee also not open, close door all the trime.
Most coin laundry set water heater at 120 ,so it could be done but it will be a very slow ,if one or 2 customers open the door, willl take forever to warm up the room again.

It was a very popular option in your parts a few years back. There was a sales guy in the Dakotas and Minnesota who sold ALOT of stores on the concept of Steam boilers with Steam dryers. Made sence expecially when most were attached to a drycleaners......
Today many of those stores are having issues as the drycleaner is out of business and the boiler is not as cost effective as other means to heat.
However We recently Did a laundry that has heated floors off a hamilton heater that is valve controled by a thermostat. I was against the idea... I hope we never find a leak.... However the first year went very well almost 0 heating cost. kept it a tosty 72 degrees. Little extra cost in construction however I should pay for it's self in about 3 years.
