Have you noticed a funny thing

I have owned a mat for 7 months now and find myself seeing mat's all over the place, especially on tv commercials and weekly shows . My wife and i laugh now when we see one HEY HONEY LOOKIE THERE , Never noticed one before. bodman

It's funny you mentioned that, my wife and I will often visit other mats as we travel. I even look at the machines in the motels we stay in :)

I, too, have found myself noticing laundromats everywhere since I've owned one. It's the same thing that happens when I buy a new car...I suddently start noticing that car EVERYWHERE I look.

BUT, it appears that mats are now being used more as backdrops in tv, movies and commercials. There is a TV commercial now playing that the backdrop is a mat. The funny thing is I am not sure who is the advertiser the only thing I notice is the mat and the older dryers.

I think because we are in the industry we notice the mats and we even try to determine the type and equipment mix, BUT the fact are more are being used as a backdrops for TV, movies and commercials.

Ditto and DOUBLE ditto...I drive my kids insane...I got lost in Greensboro NC looking around checking out mats on my way back from NYC last year. Think how that went over after a two week trip with a teen ager away from instant messaging...;)

Did anyone notice last weeks back to school flyer from Walmart with the back drop of a laundromat? I DID!

Hmmmm...Kevin Smith did a movie around a c-store called Clerks. How about one around a mat, called Attendants? Love at the mat?Mat makers? I don't know , maybe just reaching here. On the other hand, he made a lot of coins with Clerks. Maybe I better charge up the Handycam..
