I don't know how many of you may received the same ad flyer I did today from Walmart but my flyer has a huge colored picture with college students in a front loading laundromat.
Unfortunately the cute girl is sitting atop of the front loading Wascomat Junior W75 but other than that the mat looks like it has brand new Speed Queen double stack dryers along with a great R&B cart with hanging attachment... While the Walmart ad is trying to sell clothing I see a great advertisement for the laundromat business!
With the exception of the young lady sitting atop the machines I'd say this advertisement Walmart has made will show many the new face of today's laundromat!
Front loaders are the machines many college kids will face in just a few weeks time. I know my first glance into the mat, I darted away from fronts because I did not know how to use, and ran to the more familiar top load that didn't take a rocket scientist to start.
The picture that is in the Walmart ad would make an excellent in store advertisement for any laundromat wanting to teach customers the basic techniques of doing laundry while promoting their front loading higher vend machines and showing customers way to keep their clothing in the best optimal conditions!
PS for all WDF businesses now is an EXCELLENT time to gain a little WDF business as many kids heading to college will have weeks and weeks of laundry to catch up on prior to leaving for school. Many parents may want to utilize your services, self serve or your premium WDF service.
Prior to kids leaving is a great time for parents to remember Your laundromat for the weekends or breaks they return home. Many many kids come home with weeks worth of laundry and take over the family washers and dryers.... Remind families that you have the services they will need throughout the year!
