Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the input in the past. You people are knowledgable(except for the guy that thought there was 26 weeks in a year##)

I am currently looking at a store to buy that offers free dry.I dont want to take away the free dry but IM wondering if there is room to raise the washer prices.
The following are their prices.

18.lb-$3.oo
35 lb-$4.50
50lb-$6.00
80lb- $8.25.
Im wondering how much I can raise the prices without losing customers.
Any suggestions would really help.
thank you

wow - I thought the days of free drying were over, but I stand corrected......how close is your nearest competition and what they charge. Also, do the math, approximately 30-40% revenue should come from drying - if you went to normal. so likely you should be charging that much more on washing to break-even.

Hi,
competition in the area charges as follows:

18lb $1.50-$2.00
35 lb- $3.50-3.75
50 lb $5.00
80lb $7.00
They charge about .25 for 8-10 min of drying time.
No one gives "free dry" in the area"
The place im looking at gives a free dry but charges alot more for the washers but in my opinion not enough.
Any suggestions?
thank you

Always decide what your stragety is. Price your store to make a profit and to be competitive. Does the store do that much more business because of the free dry? From your prices they are charging for the dry in the wash. Seperating out the two should not be an issue. Make signs that make what you are doing clear..
