The back of my stack dryer baskets has turned an ugly black.
Does anyone else have this problem and what can be done?

Buy a different style of Dryer!
This is the Draw back of the new design in dryers. The concept is to Blow the air from the holes in the back to the ring of holes in the front. However on Over stuffed loads and Big bulky Items the "Heat" gets "Trapped" at the back and tends to Scorch the back of the dryer.
It is Very difficult to clean.

I think only Dexter is the olnly company not use the rear air flow design right now,SQ,ADC,Wascomat all have the rear air flow design.Does the real air flow design really save gas?

I have the new ADC machines in one store and my cuft of gas used is down. I have been watching the ADC's to see if the basket backs turn black, so far so good.
Thanks for the oven cleaner idea, I'll try it this week.
