Von Hef sent in some pictures from their home turf ;)
Thank you

------------
The pictures with the large sign are in front of the Route 66 Museum in Elk City, Ok.
The other pictures were taken along the highway in a little town called Erick, Ok... just a few miles from the Texas Panhandle.
We had never really driven the old road, and decided to take an evening down nostalgic lane. :^) If you haven't watched Walt Disney's "Cars" yet, give it a try, I really enjoyed the Route 66 theme in the story.

My last name is Hefner… not the cow you were making reference too… ha-ha and Pete.... I hope you weren't referring to my Wife as the donkey :^)
I would like to see your picture of the Car. We put some posters of that movie in our mat and the kids have really enjoyed it…. we have kinda gone with the Route 66 theme since our store is located directly on it. There are tourists from all over the world driving the old road… and a few of them happen to stop in our store for business.

I was reffering to your wife as the good looking person in the picture:) I thought maybe she owned the mat maybe she used the handle Heff, I thought female cow is heijfener, well, sorry, for all my confusion, I think I dig my self deeper as write... Bottom line tell her she takes a nice picture.
The donkey on the sign is wild!
That area of the country is on my list to drive, hope to do that soon.
Rt 66. I want my picture by that sign.

That is why my wife is wearing the shirt...much more photogenic than her other half. You would enjoy the drive down the old road… and if you ever do, stop by the store, the boss is there much of the time, and occasionally myself :) I gotta bite… where do you see the Donkey?

Opps.. I dig deeper. Got to post my thoughts before the second martini!
In the post a pic of your mat section you had posted pics recently, as did DuboisLaundry. His sign has a donkey pulling at a laundy line! It is so cool. I got you's guys mixed up.↕
