Hi everyone.
Im currently evaluating a store and might buy it but I think I would need to raise the prices alittle to make it profitable.
Currently they give a few dry and the following are their washer prices:
18lb-$3.oo(I wouldnt change this price)
35 lb-$4.50
5o lb $6.oo( I want to change this to $7.oo)They only have 6 of these.
80 lb-$8.25(want to raise this to 9.25)Remember they give a free dry on all washers.
Any suggestions?
I would rather charge less for the washer and charge for the dryers but I dont want to scare away all the customers.
thanks

Well if they are used to the free dry then you will if you attempt to charge for drying. I would start by a .25 raise on those 18lb machines. a $1.00 price jump will have a huge impact so I wouldn't go that far. make it .50 on those machines at first. Your customer base will notice the change so plan on maybe adding something new to the place ie vending, pinball or paint the joint something to make them see that you are spending as well!!
