TOMATO SAUCE---White Vinegar, Washing Soda, Borax
URINE---Vinegar & cold water, baking soda to remove odor
WINE (red)---Soak in cold salt water, vinegarHydrogen Peroxide, Corn Starch & cold water
TIPS: -Most stains should be soaked in cold water because hot water may make the stain permenant
If your whites are dingy; soak in warm water with a tablespoon of ammonia & liquid dishwashing detergent rinse, then soak in warm water and vinegar, then rinse
Wool shrunk; soak in water with hair conditioner. This will loosen the fibers so you can stretch
Whites washed with reds and now whites are pink; use Rit Color Remover
Clothes left too long in dryer are wrinkled; put damp towel in dryer and re-dry

We washed a white golf shirt using Tide and Clorox. When the shirt came out of the washer it had dayglo yellow stains around the neck and sleaves. I vaguely recall this happened once years ago and we tracked it down to a specific type of sunblock that the customer used. Any clues how to get this stain out???

Heavy soild on collars from body oils, hair oils and such, use Shampoo, (I find Prell is great) rub a bit in let it set and then wash as usual. The stuff is fantastic. My wife and I have used that a general spotter for years.
