what kinds of stuffs do the latino customers like to do in coin laundry store during their laundry? e.g. video game? just watch TV? ATM? vending? what kind vending? what could be another source of income and good for them? thx

Mexican love scooter,young or old,NEO GEO/MVS has some good scooter games like Super Sidekicks 2 or 3,Neo Geo Cup.
Young Latino men love fighting game like Street Fighter game,I used Capcom CPS 2 (Marvel Vs Capcom,Xman Vs Street frighter...) or 3 in all my stores,CPS one doesn't earn well(Street fighter).NEO GEO also offer a lot good fighting games like King of fighter 98,99 ,2000 and "SNK VS Capcom" is one of best but hard to get in good price,I have to buy them oversea.NO Golf game like Golden Tee ,no football game in Mexican area!Driving and pinball do ok but too much upkeep.
Mexican women like NEO GEO 's Puzzle Bubble(AKA Bust a Moon) and all of them like classic games like Ms pacman ,Galaga,Frogger....you can get those classic games in 4,9 ,39 games in one system now.If you have problems to find any games ,feel free to email me.I keep 3 system in my stores,Neo Geo/MVS,Multi Classic and CPS2.
I don't go out my way to get Mexican candy,I just buy everything from Sam's club,anything hot will sell well,hot chips is great.You will find out what customers will buy very soon,we have over 30-40 selection in my candy machines,we only buy the 9,10 popular item.NO healthy food in candy machines,hate to say this,healthy food don't sell!
Mexican also like to use Phone card,I got a few phone card machines in trade but have not look into the market yet.You can sell them over the counter too,don't need machines for that.
Mexican love their big package soap ,bleach...I don't sell them but some of my friend does,they sell a lot of them.
If not vend size,I won't sell so I may miss some item I would make more money but I just don't want to deal with over the counter sale.I saw some laundromats in Chicago sell boots,belts,cowboy clothes....that is way too much work.
We are running a self service business,add too much service will become full service business.

I saw check-cashing vending machine at 7-11 store...
it provides check-cashing, western-union, money-order, and ATM functions.
size is a little biger than normal coke vending....but looks good to me...

Have you seen this before?
what do you think if put this machine in laundromat? thx

I saw a few of those at some 7-11s before I bought this laundromat.
I was unemployed in computer tech at the time and for about 6 weeks I went to a different 7-11 everynight to swap the file server in the back room as a temp job. This check cashing vending machine is connected by ethernet to the cash registers, backroom server, gas pump controller if that store has gas, and a router which is connected to 7-11 HQ in Dallas TX by frame-relay or ISDN circuit. As far as I know this is ( or was at that time ) a 7-11 exclusive product. Perhaps someone else followed that lead and provides a similar service not tied exclusively to 7-11.

Latin customers have very large familys too. Make sure you have plenty of big washers and dryers
