Do you think opening 24 hours are necessary?
what is pro and con?
if you not open 24 hrs, why do you do that?
Thanks,

Thanks,
depends on your market/customers
shift workers nearby is a good reason to be open all night
bar nearby is a a good reason to be closed during the time the drunks are on their way home
I'm not open 24 hours because nobody in my town is awake allnight long, except perhaps methamphetamine addicts and I don't want them in my laundromat anyway. I try to close before the bars to keep the drunks out - they tend to forget to use the bar's toilet at last call, then "remember" when they get 2 or 3 blocks to my laundromat.

My store is open 24/7. It is located a couple of blocks from the town's largest employer: the local hospital. Some of the hospital employees stop by and do their laundry on their way home from work in the middle of the night. I have not had problems with people from bars, homeless people camping in the store, or any others related to the schedule. The only other mat in town is also open 24 hours, as is the local supermarket.
My point is that store hours are a very local consideration. In some places, staying open all night is not necessary because there's no business to be had. In some places, it would be inviting trouble. In some places, it helps. You should decide based upon your local considerations, not what people in other states or regions do.
