How do you manage the open and close of store?
if your store hour is 7am to midnight,then do you open and close yourself?
if store is attendent,then your attendent do those?
how about security system? who turn it on and off?
can you share with us how you open and close store...

I try to keep 2 dependable attendents to work the day shift, and they have keys to open in the morning. I lock-up most nights, or pay one of the day girls to come back and lock up if I can't make it. Right now I do have one night attendent that has a key too. But it is a good idea to keep key holders to a min.
When you give a key to someone you are really giving it to there whole family. I once had a really great day shift attendent, but her crack head husband took her key in the middle of the night and cleaned out my cash draw. I have video surveillance and got him.

We use a time lock on the door and open at 6am and close at 1am. No one is ever there at those time except maybe people doing wash.
