Coinco update

All owner of equipment that have a Coinco validator in it which includes changer machines, ESD VTM's, etc are advised to either update them for the new $10 ASAP or switch off the $20 acceptance. There exists the possiblility of the new $10 bills being counted as $20. I have recieved reports of this from the field.

If you are located in the NYC Metro area you can stop by our office in the Bronx, Upgrade cost $50 per validator or have us come out to your location. Again $50 per validator + a service call charge. If your stopping by our office you must call beforehand and let us know your dropping by. Ask for the Parts Dept.

When the new $5 was out a few years ago,if the Coinco accepter is not update,Coinco accepter will miss ID as new $20.

If your mat has customers that prefers to put 20$ in your machine then they suggest to switch the #1 FOR HIGH SECURITY, or switch the #4 to stop taking 20's as the new 10 bill is reading as a 20 until you upgrade your machine.
