Found a Mat

Hello All,

I found a mat that I am considering purchasing. I am new at this but have previous business experience. I dont have all the numbers yet but I was told that the owners are absentee and live out of state and make 25k. They have employees and tearly payroll is 45k. They are only asking 90k for the store. I know there are many other factors when buying a mat, but do these numbers seem ok? I will be meeting with the owners/rep and getting the financials. Is there a newbie FAQ?

I would suggest you spend several days scouring this website for past posts of in depth analysis of existing buisnesses acquisitions.

Hey Larry it is really hard to say whether or not the numbers add up until you start digging into the expenses and verifying the income. As TLR mentioned the search features, read what you can until you receive more information, if you don't understand something, don't hesitate to ask. Initiate a thread---bring it on....thats what we like new blood...bring back the numbers the seller gives you and I'm sure you'll have many put their two cents and a few quarters in and we'll give you a helping hand. Of course with anylsis we do like anyone really interested in our minds to join the Premium section :) Anylysis takes the most of our time and all funds generated from Premium membership is in turn put back into the site for further upgrades and added services.
