What manufacturers (both dryers and washers) offer the most attractive lease options? Any good/dependable resources for used machines? I'm looking for top loaders and a few 50lb & 35lb. front loaders.
Thanks

Any good/dependable resources for used machines? I'm looking for top loaders and a few 50lb & 35lb. front loaders. There are several listed in the back of the Journal that offer used machines. I've hear stories of both sides on just about all of them.
If you buy a used machine sight unseen, you are at the mercy of the seller. His version of 'clean - runs good' might be different than yours. Buyer beware.
Your best bet is to find a store that is upgrading, or closing. That way, you can run the machine and check it out.
Have I bought machines sight unseen? Many times.
As long as the bearing isn't bad, the motor works, and it's not completely rusted out, I can get it up to MY standards.

I am going to buy some used dryers from a source that has had good and bad comments. I know there are few places that have speaclize in used stuff, many distribs offer a bone or less for trade ins. so not much local available.. I did have a guy nearby who delt used, but retired a few years ago.
My specs will be. Model and serial number. Picture of front, and inside. No torn baskets. ( I am buying dryers)
I know there is some sort of warranty, I will bargain that some also.
