I think its been awhile since the subject of camera systems has been brought up. Looking to install a system. My fake cams just don't seem to work(sic) anymore. Anyone have any info to share? Looking to install a 6 or 8 remote view system. Wired or wireless? I know this market is forever changing.

I have bought 3 systems from cctv, but they strated messing with the cards and program. Thier orginal was a geovison card/program. It is simple, easy, fast. Phone modem or interent, very easy to use.
The last card I got was slower, more intense and lost features I like. Search Geovison.
www.dvrcrads.com has them under economy cards. They have some really fast high end stuff also. I did have one fail and they warranty it no problem, so I will buy my next one for the store I just bought there when I put that system together.

I just purchased a complete 6 camera system (including the PC) from activision. Not cheap, but is fully featured.... and so far their tech support has been good.

I considered activision and laundryspy
and eventually settled on ezwatch pro
all seemed quite comparable and fully adequate so I ended up with the one where the tech support is in my same timezone. only called them once

Got my cameras from EZWatch off the web. Piece of cake to install and it runs on the cheapest PC I could find from Tiger Direct...No problems. Total system with 4 Dome cameras and PC was less then $700 and works over the internet just fine.
