What do you pay for internetor cable, for remote viewing.
You do need static IP?
I have 2 options the cheaper of the 2 is $90.00 a month.
Does this sound right?

maybe this depends on your video card. I use geovison cards, with the install comes other programs, one a an IP follow program. At one mat I pay $14.95 a month for DSL, and have the follow DNS program so no pay for a static IP.

Be sure to use a program that will work with a dynamic dns address. It will save you the extra fee for a static address.
There are some pretty decent systems popping up on ebay right now.

Keep in mind that the upload speed is important here. The phone company is going to tell you that the "blazing" speed is the download speed. Depending on your system, you might be just as well off with dial up.

Most cam systems will do dial up from the remote to server, but you will need external modems to make them work right.. And do not forget you have to have an Intel chipset on the motherboard. If you have a 4 cam system or smaller dial in is fine. It is direct, not internet. I have both at different stores. If you can get the verizon $14.95 deal, why not.
The $14.95 DSL : is it additional to the regular cost of the phone line?
Thanks Pete
