I'm down to buying either Dexter or Ipso which do you think are better?

Are you serious? Everyone has different opinions...have you tried searching previous posts? An additional consideration is your local distributor and their support level.

I have both. They both use the same type water valve, so you can buy the cheap repair kits from dexter when that time comes in 3-5 years. The IPSO water valve is 240v and costs about $65, the dexter 110v and costs about $30. You can call IPSO service and talk to them about repair problems, not sure about Dexter. The one thing I do not like about Dexter is the door seal, it leaks easy if anything gets cuaght in it, and that happens once in awhile. My IPSO's never had a door leak becuase of the design. with the new style door handle now, IPSO is easy to use. The T style with the red button gives some people a problem, but then many have trouble closing and locking the door on a Dexter. What brand does the other laundries near you have? I would get something different then them if possible.

Are the prices about ther same for both brands? Dexter is all over here but not Ipso. Company and dist. support makes the difference to me.

I like Dexter but Pete is right about the door seal it leaks sometimes
